Description

Join us to discover how Wix transformed a chaotic integration landscape into a robust, decoupled ecosystem with semantic messaging. Moving away from disjointed Kafka messages, we embraced standardized semantic messages across thousands of microservices. Now, every CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE (CUD) operation triggers an automatic semantic message, establishing a universal language for real-time data analysis.

Learn how this framework simplified complexities, seamlessly fed our data lake, and optimized search indexing. It also facilitated external event publication through automatic translation mechanisms. We’ll explore how entity enrichment and pre-computed, event-based materialized views now enhance query performance.

This session will highlight the technical strategies and cultural shifts that empowered us to create a scalable platform at Wix. Attendees will gain valuable insights into overcoming integration challenges and streamlining workflows with semantic messaging.
